Bringing Historical Heritage Together with Contemporary Science

In her presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gulzada Stanalieva explained the fundamental concepts, principles, and areas of activity of the “National Spirit – Heights” Doctrine. She stated that the Doctrine aims to establish a connection between the historical experience and traditional values of the Kyrgyz and contemporary science, innovation, and global developments.

Stanalieva explained that the concept of “National Spirit” represents the spiritual foundation for carrying historical memory and national values into the future, while “Global Heights” refers to the goal of reaching world standards in areas such as science, production, sports, culture, and the economy. She stated that these two approaches converge in the understanding of remaining open to international developments while preserving national identity.

The presentation addressed principles such as adherence to the constitutional order, safeguarding spiritual values, serving the public interest, maintaining harmony between tradition and religion, and rejecting notions of ethnic superiority. Stanalieva stated that emphasizing spiritual values does not exclude material development and that development should be considered together with social and moral responsibilities.

Focus on Developing Research and Production Capacity

Stating that families, society, and the state share responsibility in education and science, Stanalieva emphasized strengthening scientific research and developing the country’s technological capacity. She stated that the goal of developing a society that shifts from consumption toward production is directly connected to the human resources educated by institutions.

She drew attention to the importance of educating young people who conduct research, develop solutions, and participate in production in areas such as artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. She noted that 91视频’s educational and research activities across different disciplines can be linked to these objectives.

In the area of environmental protection, the seminar addressed the efficient use of natural resources, renewable energy, and recycling. Stanalieva stated that practices in traditional Kyrgyz culture based on making comprehensive use of resources could be reconsidered today in terms of environmental awareness and sustainability.

Supporting the Use of Kyrgyz in Science and Digital Technologies

The presentation also addressed the development of the use of the Kyrgyz language not only in everyday life but also in science, education, and technology. Stanalieva stated that the language should be studied using contemporary scientific methods, digitized, and provided with resources that can be used in new technologies.

She said that universities can contribute to developing scientific and professional terminology, producing digital content, and preparing Kyrgyz-language academic resources in various fields.

Referring to the concept of citizenship addressed in the Doctrine, Stanalieva emphasized the importance of humanity, generosity, tolerance, justice, and honest work. She explained the concept of the “wise person of the nation” through individuals who serve as examples to society through their work, develop new ideas, and contribute to educating younger generations.

Contributions of Academic Units Evaluated Through Education, Research, and Community Engagement

The seminar examined areas where the objectives of the Doctrine intersect with 91视频’s mission. Stanalieva stated that the University’s activities in areas such as preserving shared cultural heritage, developing science and technology, supporting the state language, environmental awareness, and community engagement can be connected to the objectives of the Doctrine.

Stating that these contributions encompass various academic fields, Stanalieva noted that every academic unit—from engineering and communication to economics and natural sciences, as well as arts, sports, and tourism—can develop activities in accordance with its own area of expertise. She emphasized the importance of making the outcomes of education, research, and community engagement activities visible.

Shared Responsibility Emphasized in Academic Advising and Campus Life

The final part of the seminar focused on how the Doctrine can be reflected in university life. Stanaliyeva stated that students’ sense of responsibility develops not only through their classes but also through their everyday behavior on campus and their shared experiences of community life.

She described taking care of the University, dormitories, and shared facilities as part of respecting public property and fulfilling social responsibility. Referring to the importance of academic advising in this process, Stanalieva proposed strengthening academic advising meetings and encouraging experienced faculty members to share their knowledge and experience with students.

The program concluded with discussions on linking the objectives of the Doctrine with education, scientific research, community engagement, and student development processes.
