Recalling Rumi’s words, “Yesterday is gone, my dear; we need to say something new,” he pointed out the importance of drawing strength from the past to produce new ideas and shape the future.

“We Must Produce Our Own Data and Build Our Own Language Resources”

Evaluating the change in the field of artificial intelligence in terms of knowledge sovereignty, Rector Ceylan said that the languages and cultural heritage of the Turkic world must be strongly represented in the digital environment. Ceylan said, “We must produce our own data, build our own language resources, train our researchers, and set up joint laboratories and research networks.” He added that they approach the University’s structuring in artificial intelligence, data engineering and cyber security in line with this approach.
